Poli Map is designed to provide individuals with an accurate, transparent, and methodologically rigorous assessment of their political ideology. Unlike traditional single-axis political tests, our instrument recognizes that political beliefs exist along two independent dimensions: economic policy (Left–Right) and socio-cultural values (Authoritarian–Libertarian).
Our goal is to help people understand their political position, discover how their views align with different political parties and movements, and gain insight into the broader political landscape. We believe that informed self-awareness of one's political orientation is essential for meaningful political engagement and democratic participation.
Unlike many existing political tests, our methodology is completely transparent. Every proposition is uniformly weighted, and our scoring algorithm is mathematically explicit and publicly documented.
Our 20 propositions address current political cleavages including digital governance, AI infrastructure, globalization, identity politics, and post-industrial economic models—ensuring the test remains relevant to modern political discourse.
Our 4-point scale eliminates neutral responses, requiring users to express directional preferences. This maximizes the test's ability to accurately place respondents on the political map.
See how your position compares to political parties, historical figures, countries, and even AI models. Gain perspective on where you stand relative to the broader political spectrum.
Poli Map uses a scientifically designed 20-item questionnaire divided equally between economic and social propositions. Each question presents a declarative statement about political policy or values, and you respond using a 4-point scale: Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Agree, or Strongly Agree.
Your responses are converted into numerical scores based on each proposition's polarity (whether agreement indicates a Left/Libertarian or Right/Authoritarian position). These scores are summed to create raw scores for each axis, then normalized to coordinates in the ±10 range. The result is your precise position on the political map, expressed as a pair of coordinates (Economic, Social).
Once you complete the quiz, you can explore your results through interactive visualizations showing how your position compares to political parties, historical figures, countries, and more. You can also review your answers question-by-question to understand how each response contributed to your final placement.
